Tank was designed by Donovan Hill Architects who also designed Santos Place. Architect Greg Lamb has drawn on many of the elements of Santos Place as inspiration for the restaurant fit-out with the use of locally sourced materials and environmentally sustainable materials such as Orazia Gold marble and Spotted Gum timber. This is in keeping with the buildings 6 Star Green Star rating.

Tank provides an introspective view - one that places the focus on the food and wine, its provenance, the restaurant design, the service and the people - a very personal and intimate space.
