East is a beautiful venue with a stunning decor and this has been designed to please the clientele that visit East.
In turn, we encourage the same clientele that do enjoy East's ambience to dress to suit the occasion, the style and environment of the venue.
At East we also invite individuality and unique-ness in fashion sense and we are non discriminatory. At the same time our goal is to achieve comfort, safety and maintain the desired atmosphere for all our customers as a whole. Realistically this means that a minimum dress standard is required of Smart Evening Casual, with the following guidelines applying -
East Minimum Standard Dress Code Guideline | EAST Lvl 1 - Open 6pm Thurs-Sat:
- Beachwear shorts, singlets, caps, thongs - not permitted
- Daywear shorts, t shirts, caps, sandals - not permitted
- Sporting jerseys, jumpers, jackets, tracksuits (sports, club or other), hoodies - not permitted
- Leather vests, patches & / or colours - not permitted
- Caps baseball, trucker style or bandanas - not permitted
- Sports shoes, runners, joggers - not permitted
- Fashion clubwear, evening wear, dress shirts, dress pants - encouraged
- Fashion jeans & t shirts, hats i.e. fedoras, trilbys etc. - permitted if neat, no rips
- Visible tattoos - not permitted
- Large carry bags, backpacks, suitcases - not permitted, no storage space

- Beachwear shorts, singlets, caps, thongs - not permitted
- Daywear shorts, t shirts, caps, sandals - permitted
- Sporting jerseys, jumpers, jackets, tracksuits (sports, club or other), hoodies - permitted
- Leather vests, patches & / or colours - not permitted
- Caps baseball, trucker style or bandanas - permitted
- Sports shoes, runners, joggers - permitted before 6pm
- Fashion clubwear, evening wear, dress shirts, dress pants - permitted
- Fashion jeans & t shirts, hats i.e. Fedoras, trilbys etc. - encouraged
- Visible tattoos - not permitted
- Large carry bags, backpacks, suitcases - permitted within reason, may be inspected on entry * Venues occasionally change dress code/attire policies.
