Draculas Queensland - Broadbeach Waters, Gold Coast
This nightly spectacle is famous on the Coast for the hundreds of excited and delighted guests, from all over the world, lining up to sacrifice their mortal souls to Dracula's Castle.
Nestled between Jupiter's Casino and Pacific Fair, Dracula's Cabaret Restaurant in Broadbeach is a Gold Coast icon. This larger than life, Gothic castle, is adorned with eccentric gargoyles and detailed features. It looks completely appropriate, to nightly see hundreds of fruit bats gliding past Dracula's flood-lit, 8 story high turret. A genuine 6 meter surf boat sits atop the western buttress.
Be prepared for a most unusual greeting as you enter the gates. Limousines and taxis enter the porte cochere dropping off guests. Others walk from nearby Broadbeach accommodation. Limited valet parking is also available on site. The entertainment begins on arrival with an eclectic group of costumed characters, the 'Draculettes', entertaining the crowd. As the sun sets, hundreds of excited and delighted guests from all over the world, meet their friends below the suspended skeletons of the castle. A sight well known to Gold Coast locals.
