The Bottom End is a new kind of hybrid venue: a pub-disco-diner and is destined to become iconic.

The love-child of a fair-dinkum Aussie pub and a hedonistic party palace with an all-night pseudo-US diner thrown in for good measure, The Bottom End is helmed by Michael Delany-Korabelnikova, the human behind Honkytonks, Third Class and Sorry Grandma!

Recently instrumental in helping create the key venues of Sydney's "pub revolution": The Flinders, The Norfolk, The Carrington and The Abercrombie, Michael is bringing many far-flung elements together in this distinctly Melbourne venue.

Food is the key ingredient in the success of any traditional pub and The Bottom End is no different. The food menu takes queues from all night US diners and the recent stoner food phenomenon.

Being a true pub, the beer and cider from the taps is super fresh and ice-cold but, being Melbourne, a diverse selection of quality wines and spirits will be available as well as fiendish, freaky and flavoursome cocktails sitting front and centre as the cornerstone of our bar output.

Although this is not a club and there will be no door-charge, music is ever-important and will set the atmosphere early and lead us into the late night with Melbourne legends manning the wheels of plastic and steel dreams.

The site was once a massive wool store and it's hulking timbers and brickwork are hugely atmospheric. Now tricked up by the technicolour fairies with booths and nooks galore, this is the late night party palace Melbourne has missed for so damn long.

It also has a 24 hour licence...

In many ways only a chromosome away from what many would see as a 'normal' pub, The Bottom End puts the devil in the detail and it's the details that will change your life forever.

Equally at home catering for the footy fan, the corporate raider, the hipster transvestite and bass guitar player in that band, The Bottom End is on its knees and at your command.
