While there's plenty of seating ceiling, and wine-rack walls serve as a outside, it's inside where history really comes alive.

Warm lighting reveals an ancient wooden reminder of Sydney's convict past. Early settlers chose the tank stream as their source of fresh water.

And while the stream itself now flows underground, the bar remains one of Sydney's favourite watering holes.
