- The Backroom is taking table bookings.
- The Imperial Hotel will be open on Melbourne Cup day from 1:00pm.
- The Winston is taking Melbourne Cup function bookings.
- The Marquee at the Star is throwing an after party.
- Rock Lily at the Start has an after party with Sneaky Sound System.
- The Stonewall Hotel is hosting a Melbourne Cup lunch.
Melbourne
- Sneak Bar is offering unlimited beer, sparkling wine, and basic spirits (vodka/scotch/bourbon/bacardi/gin) you can drink for 4 hours on Melbourne Cup Day starting 2pm as a $50 package.
- Honey Bar will have big screens, surround sound and drink specials.
- Dig A Pony is inviting people to come along after the last race for tapas.
- The Rochester Castle Hotel is getting Melbourne Cup eve rolling with an hour of power from 8-9pm on Monday then the DJs kick off with the usual happy hours.
Brisbane
- Cloudland is hosting a glamorous affair, with the open air atrium converted to a melange of style, champagne and racing. The event's being hosted by Seven Network's sports reporter, commentator and presenter Ben Davis.
- The Elephant Arms is taking Melbourne Cup lunch bookings.
- The Plough Inn is putting on a Melbourne Cup buffet.
- The Caxton Hotel is celebrating Melbourne Cup Day with The Lazy Valentines performing live in the Cauldron Bar from 4pm.
- The Exchange Hotel has a $15 menu for the Melbourne Cup.
Perth
- Niche Bar is having a Melbourne Cup After Party.
- Amplifier Capitol is hosting a special 'Trifecta' event. Watch the race in the courtyard.
