Sometimes they come and go, other times they re-emerge at a later date as popular culture comes full circle. Gangnam StyleWith over 330 million views on YouTube alone, Gangnam Style - a satirical take by South Korean rapper Psy on the posh lifestyle of people living in the Gangnam district of Seoul - is the latest dance craze to hit the world. Its horse-riding-like dance moves have not only shown themselves on dance floors around the world, but have also made their way into countless video remakes online. Melbourne ShuffleIt's been around since the 1980s, but recently the Melbourne Shuffle took the limelight again and re-entered popular culture stronger than ever thanks to LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem video. DougieAnother dance move that started in the 1980s was the Dougie, named after US rapper Doug E Fresh. Cali Swag District's music video Teach Me How to Dougie brought it back as a popular dance move world-wide in 2010. MacarenaA hit of the 90's, The Macarena with its own unique dance moves took up a cult following and is still one of the most recognised dance crazes of all time.
